We like expensive decisions less than the people selling them.

What we publish

We build field guides for products and software that are costly, sticky, or annoying to unwind. Current desks cover mattresses and AI work tools. The subjects are different. The questions are not: What does it really do? Who is it for? What can go wrong? What will it cost after the promotion ends?

Who operates the site

Product Field Guide is operated by Endurance Ecom LLC, a Colorado limited liability company. The site may earn money through clearly disclosed affiliate relationships.

What we will not pretend

Reading documentation is research, not hands-on use. A demo is not a long-term test. A successful run does not prove reliability. We label the evidence we have and leave out claims we cannot support.

How we use software

We may use software, including AI-assisted tools, to organize sources, check links, or prepare working drafts. A person is responsible for the published conclusion. We do not use generated copy as a substitute for sources, firsthand experience, or judgment.

Corrections

If a specification, policy, price, or product behavior is wrong, send the page URL and the source that contradicts it to hello@productfieldguide.com. We review specific corrections and update material errors.
